CHAPTER 10
Family Introduction and Foolish Grandfather

Sauvell feels down because Rovel remains silent.

Rovel: “Ask Lawrence and Albert to join us now.”

Following his request, Sauvell rings the bell. Soon after, Lawrence shows up to his call. Sauvell immediately orders Lawrence to invite Albert to this room. After a few minutes, Lawrence comes back with Albert to join them in the private room. Shortly after they gather inside the room, Rovel puts a soundproof barrier around the room. He did this to avoid someone ear dropping their conversation.

Meanwhile, the water mirror of the spirit realm is a mirror which reflects the truth. Both his wife and daughter will keep watching the whole situation attentively from the water mirror.

Rovel: “I had been in the Spirit realm for the past 10 years. It took me one year to regain my consciousness. I have to apologize for this……I refused to go home because I thought I would be forced to marry Agriel.”

All of them sympathize with Rovel’s painful feelings. They understand the degree of Rovel’s anxieties and struggles who was being followed around by Agriel from childhood.  The three of them hold their breathe and nod in agreement.

Rovel: “I had never thought that woman would marry my little brother. Not only the house responsibilities, but I also left you with that woman……I’m sorry Sauvell. You did well to protect our house.”

Sauvel: “Older Brother…”

Sauvel is overcome with emotions when he sees Rovel bows down and apologizes to him.

Rovel: “I also found my soulmate over there. We already got married.”

In consequence to Rovel’s bombshell announcement, both Lawrence and Sauvell become stiff due to the shocks.

Rovel: “I hope this will be kept as a secret until the time comes. My wife is the queen of the spirit realm, Origin.”

While the three of them remain speechless, Rovel keeps continue with his talk.

Rovel: “I was married into the Spirit Realm. We also had a daughter. She is very cute just like my wife. “

At Rovel who smiles so brightly, the three people’s mouth and eyes are wide open. They become speechless. Rovel has changed so much. No, this is the real Rovel. Rovel’s true self was hidden because of Agriel.

Rovel: “Sauvell, I hear you have an outside family. After that woman disappears, you can bring them here.”

Sauvel: “Yes…”

Rovel: “It does not matter if she is a commoner. It’s better than the evil royal family.”

Rovel laughs at Sauvell who is still confused. From the conversation, it seems that Rovel has decided to leave the household matter to Sauvell.

Sauvell: “I……am not suitable as a Lord. I painfully understand it from the past 10 years! Older brother, won’t you come back to our house!?”

Rovel: “I will not inherit this household……Don’t you realize it from my appearance?”

From his appearance, Rovel does not show any signs of aging.

Rovel: “I became a half spirit. I’m not suppose to stay in the human realm.”

Lawrence feels a little bit sad after hearing what Rovel has just said. He wipes his tears with a handkerchief. In the meantime, Albert is clenching his fist and biting his lips. Nevertheless, Sauvell still refuses to give up on Rovel.

Sauvell: “But! There must be a way for you to stay here!! Human and spirit can coexist!! I beg you, as a family……I want to live with my family!! I don’t want to be left alone anymore!!”

Rovel is stunned from Sauvell’s desperate pleas. After losing his father and brother, Sauvell feels really lonely. Their mother was in a low spirit and went into seclusion. Then Agriel slipped into the family and wrecked the household into chaos. Sauvell did have some allies to support him, but Agriel’s presence made the hard situation even worst. When Sauvell got a clue about their mother’s whereabouts, she moved away to another place. She probably did not want to be contacted at all. This was what happened to Sauvell for the past 10 years. He was left alone by himself supporting and fighting for their household.

Sauvell: “Won’t you help me Older brother?! It’s impossible for me to do this alone. The folks in our territories are joyfully clamoring about your comeback!”

Rovel: “……”

What he said is true. Due to the folk’s uproars, Rovel is being placed at the center of attention. If he disappears, the people will make an uproar again. Thus, Rovel is troubled about what he should do.

Behind the water mirror, I and Mother look at each other.

Ellen: “Esteem Father looks troubled. “

Origin: “Oh my. He doesn’t need to think too much about it. “

Ellen: “Would you like to go over there? That woman is not there at the moment, so we won’t break the promise with Esteem Father.”

Origin: “Ara, that’s true. Nice idea, Ellen!”

Mother happily hold me and then teleport. Suddenly, both of us appear in the middle of the air in the room. Sauvel and the others are taken back from our appearance.

Origin: “My dear, what are you worried about? You must cherish your own family. “

As both, I and mother draw closer to him, Rovel gives out a bitter smile.

Origin: “Haven’t you decided already?”

After Rovel makes up his resolution, he gently calls his little brother.

Rovel declares that he will support their household and protect their territory.

Rovel: “Anyhow, tomorrow is the start of the game. Do you understand?”

Towards Rovel’s fiery remarks, the three adult man are only nodding their head repeatedly while being overjoyed to tears.

After the three men are settled down, Rovel introduces Origin as his wife.

Origin: “Should I introduce myself? I had been together with you before. “

Rovel: “Well you are right about that.”

Lawrence: “How…Lord Rovel, you were in contract with this spirit Queen, right…”

Rovel: “It’s normal to be surprised.”

Lawrence: “Then this child…”

Rovel: “Let me introduce you, my daughter Ellen.”

When the little girl bows, she notices Lawrence’s adoring gaze.

Lawrence: “How cute you are. You are so lovely just like your mother but you have your father’s curly hair. Thank you for your politeness. I am a butler of this house, Lawrence. Call me if you need anything. Please address me as Grandpa. “

Ellen: “Grandpa?”

While I tilt my head in confusion, Lawrence is laughing, ‘Ho Ho Ho’ with a bright smile.

Lawrence: “Such a happy occasion!! It seems that I just get a very lovely and cute grandchild. As wonderful as Lord Rovel and Lady Origin!!”

Rovel: “Lawrence, stop your wild imagination.”

Lawrence: “Nooo!! This is it! This is what I’ve been waiting for so long! I won’t give up on this!!”

Rovel and the rest are finally realized about something when I pinched on my nose.

Rovel: “Let’s move out from this room!! This room is bad for Ellen’s health!!”

After that, I get to know that the room was a smoking room for male use only.
