Meanwhile, Rovel and Sauvell are working on everything they can do to drive Agriel out of the house. The two brothers discuss the issue until late into the night.

The moment the news about Rovel’s return arrives at the palace, it instantly creates a huge uproar.

Regrettably, because Agriel was conceived late, she was pampered and always used to do as she pleased. Even if she had a child already, she would probably wish to go back to Rovel.

The King: “………I heard that Agriel’s relationship with the Head of the Vankriff house is really worst. They might get a divorce.”

Aide: “Since Lord Rovel broke his engagement 10 years ago, Lady Agriel was able to marry Lord Sauvell. Lord Rovel would not agree to go back with her now. After all, she is his little brother’s wife.”

Even though he was able to get things went as his calculation, the Vankriff house lost both the Lord and his heir during the incident.

The King expected that he would able to justify his reason behind the union but it did not come through because no matter what, it was unlikely for Agriel to be able to integrate into the Vankriff house and the rest of the folks. In the end, he lost to the voice of the people and now the issue is brought up in front of him. Despite the King’s continuous effort to send a lot of money to support the Vankriff house, he received reports that Agriel had splendidly used up all the money which he had sent. To make it even worst, the money he had sent was not sufficient for Agriel. She also dares to touch the golds which belong to the Vankriff house and as a result, the Vankriff house is now in a dire financial situation because of her. Previously, all of Agriel’s selfishness was forgiven because she was still a minor. The King originally thought that after she had a child and grows older, she will be more mature.

Now, due to the fuss of Rovel’s return, the King is reminded of the real issue which he had tried to ignore. For the first time, he feels that his daughter’s existence which he has abandoned because he was too occupied with other matters has become so troublesome.

The news about Rovel is coming to the palace rose quickly. In consequence, people are requesting their audience in front of the King in favor of witnessing the historic moment which is bound to happen. Most of them are wishing to see the place where Rovel will give his report about his return. Everyone is extremely delighted with Rovel’s return.

Not to mention, Rovel who has extraordinary talents, was the leader of the military at that time. Lately, there were a lot of shady incidents happened around the border of the country and the moment the news about Rovel’s return has spread out, the incidents stop without a trace. Under those circumstances, there is no way that the country would be silent about the man who is able to strengthen the country's defense by only existing.

“Lord Rovel Vankriff has arrived!”

While the soldier announces Rovel’s arrival, the reception hall door slowly opens. From the gap, a majestic appearance of the hero can be seen. The people who are gathering in the room are enthralled by the scene. The young man does not seem to get older by 10 years and both of his hair and his eyes have changed from the past. Nevertheless, the people can still grasp his heroic effort on Monster Tempest incident by his appearance.

The change of his hair color into silver threads is the sign that Rovel had used all his power to the verge of dying in order to save the country, while the change of his eyes color is due to being in the spirit world for too long and seeing too many mysterious things. It seems that the time has stopped for the young man who was fallen into a slumber for a long period of time. Overall, Rovel’s beautiful appearance which had made many aristocrat ladies fallen for him in the past has become even more polished after 10 years.

Rovel comes before the King and kneels down.

King: “Raise your face.”

Following the King’s order, Rovel raises his face and there is no smile can be seen in his eyes. Instead of a proud expression of being able to return to his country, Rovel shows a menacing look which cause the King feels like he is being seen as an enemy. Subsequently, the King and his retainers feel the chills on the back of their bodies.

Based on Rovel’s attitude, they firmly understand that something really bad is going to happen.
