Nanari: “Dord.”

Next to Prince Zenon is a big phoenix bird. This male bird is his familiar and his name is Dord.  If I’m not mistaken, the crest of the royal family is a bird, so I think his familiar suits him very much.

Nanari: “Are you flying with Prince Zenon?”

Dord: “Yes. Master has time to see the others before going home.”

This island where the school is located belongs to the king. Therefore, he does not need to fly down back to the central state. However, he wants to watch over the others before they left, so he comes here to the school gate. 

As expected of his highness. Whatever he says or does is always cool.

Despite not being as tall as Lockman, compare to me, he is considerably taller to the point that I have to look upward when I talk to him. His look is as dignified as Lockman. Both of them are the same class of high-grade beautiful man.

Indeed, during the summoning ceremony at the class, the reactions of the two of them when they got to know that they have the same familiar was truly amusing. I still remember their sour expressions when they glared at each other. Although there were others who got phoenix familiars too.

As I thought, the more they fight with each other, the more they become closer as friends. Yup.

Santanath descends slowly with his familiar. As he puts his feet on the ground, his phoenix familiar shrinks and hops on top of Santanath’s shoulder.

After that Benjamin kisses my cheek and then departs to the sky with her familiar.

Nanari: “Ee, Be,  Benja..”

Benjamin: “Actually, I want to say this. Even if I can’t get to meet him, I’m still feeling happy to meet Nanari! Bye!”

Hence, she waves her hands and disappears to the sky. I keep looking at her figure until her red hair cannot be seen anymore.

What was that, Ane-san? That was so smooth. My heart flutters. For just a second, she looked so handsome for me. Even though she is a girl like me… It’s no good. Then I laugh loudly toward Lockman whose figure is becoming smaller. With the school is already behind me, I go toward the direction of my nostalgic home.
