Hazure Skill ‘Mapping’ wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Saikyou Party to Tomo ni Dungeon ni Idomu Chapter 78
Note Athlon, The Arrivers' Scout Role 1
The Mid Boss of 19th floor requires a lot of effort, but we manage to break through. However, the price of eliminating the Mid Boss is pretty high, Erin’s condition has become like this:
Erin: “I wish all
fishes disappear. I hope all fishes go extinct. I don’t want to see any fish
anymore.”
Is she all right? When she defeated the Mid Boss, the light in her eyes had vanished. Afterward, we were in successive battles with the monsters, and now she has become completely dispirited.
Nevertheless, her works are superb. Anyone who sees how she performs in battles will acknowledge her as a first-class sorcerer. The memory of her being undependable on the 20th floor seems to be an illusion now. Although she has been making some weird remarks, she will change into an infallible sorcerer when it comes to battle.
Note: “Let’s go into the Boss room. Then go home.”
Erin: “Are we going to fight again? “
Note: “This will definitely be the last time. Don’t you want to go home as soon as possible? “
Erin:
“Alright. But once this is over, I would like to take some time off.”
Well, the one who works the hardest on the 19th floor is Erin after all. When this is over, I would like to let her rest immediately.
A delicate girl with twin tails silver hair. Her twin tails are swaying slightly.
After watching those battles, I once again become convinced that the Arrivers is an incredible party. During the battle with the Mid Boss, not only Erin, but Rosalia, Force, Jin, and Neme understand their roles really well and makes appropriate actions. Meanwhile, the only thing that I could do was carrying Neme on my shoulder and running away.
Does
this party really need me?
Suddenly I become anxious.
Although I do fulfill my role with my [Mapping Skill], this skill is only used to explore the dungeon area. In terms of combat, I’m neither good nor bad, I don’t have anything that stands out. In conclusion, although I do fulfill the roles that Jin had assigned me when I joined the arrivers, I don’t feel satisfied with my contribution.
My desire to be useful in battle has been growing stronger day by day. But the current me has not been able to master <<Knock Out>> yet. In addition, even if I finally master a fighting art, without having a battle skill, I’m still cannot match the other 5 members.
While
I finish off one monster, they may have finished a dozen monsters already. In such a situation, I have to find a way in
order to play an active role. This was pointed out by Reese. At any cost, this
problem has become a huge obstacle that I can’t overcome.
“Then,
shall we go?”
While looking around at all the members, I touch the teleportation stone. The stone is the only path that leads into the Boss room.
The fact that I am useless in battle is nothing new. But I can’t help to worry about it here. Even when we return later, I will still continue to carry those worries back to our home. Therefore, I should just shift all of my focus into the upcoming battle with the Boss.
Using my <<Search Enemy>>, I sense the presence of two monsters inside the Boss room. Although I cannot figure out the shape or appearance of the monsters, both of them are fairly strong. In the latter half of 10 floors of the dungeon, I start to sense 2 monsters in the boss room. Recently, we start to struggle in defeating the boss monsters. Having the two of them at the same time will be a real threat.
I take a breath to ease my mind and turn on a switch inside me. I calm down my own heart, and after making another confirmation of the situation, I open the path.
The wind blows hard from the front. It has something fishy, humid, and tepid feel to it.
The winds violently brush against my hair, while the two monsters are standing right in front of us. One of them is a red fishman, and the other one is a blue fishman. Once my gaze is crossed against them, a pair of round yellow eyes are staring back at me.
The two monsters seem to belong to two different species. Their visage, fins, and physical constitution are different from each other.
Although both of them are about 4 meters in height, the red fishman has a nice physical build with well-rounded muscles. His arm is thicker than my waist and he holds a huge sword and a sturdy shield in his hands. On the other hand, the blue fishman has a slender body build. He has a spear in his hand and his stance does not show any weak spot at all.
There is an overwhelming murderous intent coming from the blue fishman. His foot movements are faintly captured in my eyes.
-----<<Avoidance>>
Using
perception, no, maybe call it intuition to instantly release art faster and I avoid the sudden attack. I turn my upper body to slip away and vigorously throw up my lower body
in the momentum. As my body flies in the air, I fall out from the trajectory of
his spear attack. His spearhead is barely passed through under my body.
----------------tsu
I
follow the momentum and rotate my body. I don’t have any chance to stop. If I
hesitate a little bit, I will be killed. I can’t think about anything else. I
only have to think about how to survive. I predict the landing spot for my
right foot, put a lot of force on my right ankle, and collect my strength in
it. Then I should release it at once the moment I touch the ground.
-----Now
is the time.
At the same time as I land, I release <<Withdraw>>. As soon as the spear approaches, I jump and soar into the air. The crash with the spear is felt on my left shoulder. I feel some pain coming from the injury. But it is a light one. It is only a light injury. Otherwise, I might die.
While
I am floating in the air, many perturbed thoughts arise in my head. Because of
my unstable posture when I release <<Withdraw>>, I cannot control
the power of my jump. I end up crashing against the wall.
“Note!”
I can hear Erin is calling for me.
Simultaneously, Jin is using <<Bloodlust>> to stabs the blue fishman.
Thanks for the chapter
