My First Sweet Treats

The sweets in front of me, resemble Galette des Rois with a round shape. Galettes usually come in various shapes. Some come as cookies, bretonne or bretagne style. Bretagne is a sweet which inspires crepes. Bretagne is famous for the round thin grilled dough like a crepe. Inside the dough, there is egg, ham, bacon, and cheese. Then the four sides of the crepe would be folded in a shape of rectangle to contains those ingredients.

Lawrence cut a slice of the Galette and put it in front of me. The slice of the Galette shines brightly in front of my eyes. Since my reincarnation, I have never eaten any sweets. The main reason for this is because a spirit does not need to eat. However, because I have human blood inside of me, I need to eat food just a little bit. Needless to say, Father also needs to eat. The spirits usually suck a little bit of flower's nectars or eat some fruits as a meal. But they only eat very little. In our case, both Father and I need to eat some food to some extent. Sometimes we go to the human realm to eat some food.

It seems that my eyes are glistening so brightly in front of the sweets. When I notice my surroundings, the rest of the adults are smiling while looking at me. It brings me back to reality.

Oh no, I arbitrarily become convinced that this is a test from Grandma to see if I will act as I please without manner. Then I correct my sitting posture. Right now, I have to show that I have no whatever interest in sweets.

While I am enjoying the delightful bites inside my mouth, I realize that all the adults around me are paying their attention to me. My face turns pale and I become panic when I see them watching me like that.

Isabella: “Haa………So cuteee. I cannot even imagine that her way of eating would be this adorable…”

Rovel: “Mother, it’s nice of you to feed her like that, but if you keep continuing like that, she won’t be able to eat dinner. Both Ellen and I don’t eat that much.”

Isabella: “What!?”

At the same time, I am about to close my mouth to eat the cake from the fork when Isabella instantly draws the fork away from me.
