CHAPTER 9 Part 3

When the self-study time is over, everyone leaves the classroom. There is no other class after this so some of the students go back to the dorm while others who still have something to do will go to their own respective place to do their own business. I plan to tell Nike that I will be late today too, so I head to her classroom. Suddenly, I realize the paper in which I wrote my rejection during the self-study time flies into the classroom.

Lately, the girls are swarming around Lockman more than ever. Since the person himself does not seem to hate it, I think he gives more opening for the girls to approach him. Sally:” Alves-sama. Will you be my partner for the party?”

Listening to their conversation, it seems that Sally is trying to ask Lockman to be her partner for the party. Thus, I become a little bit curious and standing still on where I am to listen more. Lockman: “I have no plan of having a partner for the party. If it’s dancing, I’m would gladly be your partner. However, I also have promised the other girls to dance with them, so I will dance with you after them. Is that fine with you?”

Sally: “It’s fine!”

The girl accepted it.

According to Marisa, a woman inviting a man is a shameful behavior in high society. However, because the school party has no relation with their parents, houses and the public, the girls are frantically doing everything so that they won’t have any regrets.

The day of the party.

Because I slept late yesterday, I woke up late in the afternoon. The day was shining brightly through the window. I woke up, but not by myself. I woke up after being roused out from the bed by Nike and Benjamin. Despite being fallen out of the bed, I still continued to sleep. Therefore, Benjamin kicked me with all her might to wake me up. I will never forget the sturdiness of her feet. …………It hurts.

Nanari: “It’s refreshing.”

We take a shower and dry out our hair. I haven’t worn the dress yet. Instead, I lay it on top of the bed for the time being. There are still 2 hours left before the party. It’s plenty of spare time………I never been so idle like this, so there is no reason for me to rush.

I comb Benjamin’s hair and while looking at a book, I also cast a spell to tie her hair up. While we are wondering which would look better, we end up trying so many things. Actually, from long time before, I already decided on a hairstyle which I thought was pretty. However, it is a girl’s nature to feel hesitant about her looks at the last minute. Nevertheless, I manage to decide on a hairstyle which looks good on her and her make up is also done perfectly…………Of course, Nike is the one who did the make up.

On Nike’s turn, I also do her hair with magic while Benjamin is the one who carefully applies her make up. The end result of the both of them are beautiful. Not to mention that they are originally beautiful even without make up, but they look even more beautiful on the same level like goddess. My eyes are flickering because they are so bright.

Nike: “Now, you are next.”

I was covering both of my eyes with my hands when I heard next is my turn. Ah yeah, both of them are done already. I’m the only one left.

Nike: “Pale blue hair. No matter how many times I look at it, your hair is beautiful.”

Nike said that while she picks up my hair.

Benjamin: “Hmmm, which hairstyle do you think is better? She always let it down, so it might be nice to tie it up and show her nape once in a while. What do you think, Nike?”

Nike: “Let’s braid the back and let the front hair loose. Since her hair color is like this, we can also scatter some small white flowers around it.”

Benjamin: “That’s a good idea!”

Without asking my opinion, the two of them continue to engross with the conversation. They look like having so much fun. I feel content as long as they are having fun. After my hairstyle is done, Nike moves to stay in front of me and starts to take out her make up tools.

Nike: “Now, close your eyes.”

I feel ticklish every time the brush touches my skin.

Nike: “I always want to do your makeup, Nanari, at least once. After all, you have never let me do it before.”

Nanari: “E…That’s because.”

Nike: “Fortunately, we have this party. Thanks to that, we are able to dress you up and make you shine.”

Nanari: “Make me shine……”

She makes too much exaggeration.

After the makeup is done, we pick up our dress from the bed and change into it. Benjamin wears an elegant purple dress that suits her red hair while Nike wears a bright yellow dress which also goes along well with her blonde hair. On the other side, I wear a pale green dress which is the same color as my eyes. The dress was chosen and sent by my mother.

This is my first time wearing a dress with a long skirt and an open shoulder. while my skirt is actually a little bit shorter than how it supposes to be for a party dress, I still feel restless. While on it, my mind goes out of track. I think the noble girls have it hard, because they often have to wear this kind of dress with high heels.

“Then see you later.”

After we finish to confirm our look with each other, we go out of the room and split up. Benjamin goes to the boy’s dorm because she plans to meet up with Santanath, while Nike who is asked out by someone, is going to the meeting place to meet up with her partner. Before we split, the two of them said, ‘If someone tries to do weird things, just freeze them’. I wonder why they said something weird like that. I wish they tell me the specific reason behind it. While being confused, I go to the venue by myself.
